Like many retailers, this customer’s despatch team shipped customer orders with a mix of carriers including DHL, UPS and several local carriers, booking shipments by email and telephone, filling in the freight labels by hand.
Without central guidance, inappropriate carriers were often selected, at greater cost and often compromising customer expectations.
Integro360 gives the customer’s team a single system to process their customer orders on, automatically selecting the most appropriate carriers and automatically printing labels for all selected carriers.
Every shipment created on Integro360 gets a unique ID, to access shipment information, provide a link to tracking and add to comprehensive statistics, management reporting and much more.
This Hong Kong based client despatched European web orders with international integrators to keep their 72 hour delivery promise. But this determination to maintain service levels came with a significant price tag, that meant many orders were being subsidised by the client.
With Integro360 the client’s order management system automatically creates shipments in the system, with collection from Heathrow. Labels are printed and applied to the parcels, which are then consolidated and flown directly into London Heathrow by air freight.
Collected by nominated carriers on arrival, the completed delivery to the end-customer, maintain the delivery promise, but at a fraction of the original cost.
